The Caravana Migrante rests today in Mapastepec and tomorrow arrives in Pijijiapan, a city in Chiapas, Mexico, which has already begun to welcome the first migrants from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador.

As of Tuesday, the caravan of thousands of people was in Huixtla, Mexico, about 50 miles from the Mexico-Guatemala border.
